In restricted development
A persistent Linux computer for working with AI agents.
Liveterminal is a cloud VPS that keeps its installed software and files. It is being built so you can hand off work from your laptop, launch isolated Agent Workers against the project files you authorize, and temporarily increase the computer’s resources.
Available today
The restricted development service lets an invited account create a VPS, open its shell from your own terminal with the lt CLI, and delete it. If you disconnect, the next authorized connection resumes the VPS’s shell session while the VM keeps running. Shell access is through the CLI; native SSH and guest internet access are not available yet.
The model
Liveterminal keeps compute, private disks and shared project files separate, and names each one precisely.
- VPS
- Your persistent Linux computer. It has its own private root disk, so installed software, configuration and files stay where you left them.
- Workspace
- Durable project files owned independently of any one computer, and shared only with the machines you authorize.
- Agent Worker
- A separate, isolated Linux VM for one agent task, with its own kernel and writable root. It is not a process inside your VPS.
- Run
- The record of one requested job: its attempts, logs, result and cleanup.
In design
These workflows define the product. They are not available yet, and each ships only after it passes its own acceptance checks.
Hand off work from your laptop
Move a project’s current files to a durable Workspace and continue there. Agents can keep working after your laptop disconnects.
Launch isolated Agent Workers
Start one or several agent tasks from a prepared machine, each in its own VM, with explicit access to the project files you authorize.
Add resources for a heavy job
Temporarily increase the VPS’s CPU and memory for a build or test run, then return to a smaller allocation.
Bring your own agent
Liveterminal is not a model or a replacement for Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode. It is the Linux computer they run on: a normal shell, installed packages, services and your own processes, isolated in a virtual machine.
Install the CLI
Run this in your own terminal. It installs lt to ~/.local/bin after verifying the download’s SHA-256 checksum. macOS 15 or later and Linux (glibc 2.36 or later), on ARM64 or x86-64.
curl -fsSL https://get.liveterminal.ai/install.sh | shRead the script first at get.liveterminal.ai/install.sh, or use the manual downloads. Signing in requires an invited account.
